RESPONSIBILITIES

The Community Commons buildings are key elements to the urban campus on the Tyndall AFB. Originally proposed as a single building, the project was expanded into two buildings to accommodate the variety of spaces that the Base desired.

The first building is a 38,512 sf, single story building including a 12-lane bowling alley, pro shop, activity room, offices, bar, restrooms, restaurant, U.S. Post Office, and loading dock.

The second building is a two story, 35,513 sf building with three main areas. Located on the first floor are a library, computer labs, offices, Arts & Crafts area, classrooms, CNC routing room, recreation space including a multipurpose room, computer area, spectator/video wall, mini-theater, TV lounge, and a balcony are included.
