RESPONSIBILITIES

The project consists of providing an emergency generator power for the entire campus. Design services included the creation of a new switch gear room, expansion of the existing FPL Vault, the coordination of existing life safety plans, and compliance with AHCA and Florida Building Code. Due to the age and current design of the facility, and to meet DERM restriction, the design team settled on an exterior generator with an above fuel surface tank, both of which meet or exceed Wind & Hurricane requirements.

This project was reviewed and approved by the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
