RESPONSIBILITIES

The renovation of the Ballard Armory included the adaptation and reconfiguration of the existing programmatic spaces of the building, including demolition of existing under-utilized areas of the building and reconfiguration of existing spaces to provide new office and classroom spaces, a new gym, and new restrooms, showers, and locker rooms for the enlisted personnel. In addition, existing equipment and all existing interior finishes in the main lobby, main stairs, kitchen, and a 6,500 sf Drill Hall/Dining Room were replaced or renovated. Additional work included ADA upgrades, HVAC upgrades, life safety upgrades, building hardening, re-roofing, and re-surfacing and re-striping of the existing parking lots.
