×New South-Central Checked Baggage Inspection System (CBIS) at Miami International Airport
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gurrimatute was responsible for the design and construction oversight of the 3-story, 71,000 sf new building that houses the new baggage system for South Terminal. The programmatic spaces include: EDX Matrix Area, CBRA Room, General Office Space, Staff Restrooms, Secured Passenger Corridor, Planned Future Concession Spaces, and building support spaces including electrical rooms, telephone rooms, mechanical penthouse, etc.
This project is LEED Silver and was designed for Sea Level Rise.
