RESPONSIBILITIES

Gurri Matute Cromwell JV was responsible for the design to consolidate the base 19 Operations Support Squadron (19 OSS), previously in two buildings, into one building. This was achieved by a complete interior renovation of the existing, single story, 45,048 sf B216 facility. The renovation also included the 2,881 sf addition of a new VIP entrance and mobility work area. The construction was phased and occupied which allowed for squadron operations to continue around the clock during construction. Occupants and operations of the existing building B120 were relocated once the renovation was complete. The new design meets all anti-terrorism requirements, ADA, ABA, UFCs, and LRAFB Design Criteria.
