Intermodal Center at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

RESPONSIBILITIES

The FLL Intermodal Center (IMC) was a planned 8-level facility in the Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport master plan, designed as a regional transportation hub connecting the APM, Seaport Connector to Port Everglades, and Brightline. The 4-million-square-foot structure was envisioned to include 7,000 parking spaces, ground-level drop-off/pick-up, parking levels above, and upper-level commercial space.

Gurrimatute served as architectural consultant, helping define the project by refining program requirements, layouts, access and circulation, and operational concepts. This work supported development of the Project Definition Document to guide the future A/E design team.
