Greynolds Park Phase I: Bridges, Culverts and Fresh Water Flow Restoration

RESPONSIBILITIES

This historic park from the 1930’s was designed and constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corp. GMPA was hired to restore key historic structures that had fallen into significant disrepair and/or collapsed. Phase I of this project included historic preservation services as well as architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of the repairs of two historic pedestrian footbridges, clean-out of the existing historic culverts, and the restoration of water flow at the rookery. The project was designed in accordance with the Secretary of Interior Standards for the Rehabilitation of Historic Structures.
