RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope of the project involved the addition to the existing building for the design of a new MRI Suite. GMPA met with staff and users to coordinate life safety and ICRA before providing a layout for approval. The design of the addition required that the construction could not impact the operation of the existing radiology department, especially the operation of the adjacent MRI Suite. With that in mind, two additional and independent HVAC units and modification of the existing switch gears were provided to create a fully stand-alone addition.
