RESPONSIBILITIES

Gurrimatute worked with the City of Miami Building Department for interior renovation to the department to develop space plans with systems furniture and modular wall systems to support their new operational process. The entire project is a public, forward-facing space, except for some private offices and storage areas. All interior finishes and furniture were selected by Gurrimatute.

A significant challenge to this project was the need to maintain continuous operations. Therefore, the space plan was developed to maximize the speed of construction, and to facilitate phased moves of the departments. Over six separate phases and departmental moves occurred to allow this project to be built and to not have any impact on operations.
