RESPONSIBILITIES

Designated as a historic building with the City of Coral Gables, Café Demetrio was built in 1925 and was formally the location of the first newspaper in Coral Gables. Gurrimatute performed interior and exterior renovations while paying careful attention to maintain the Mediterranean Revival style and historical integrity of the building while adding to its updated functionality as a café and restaurant space.
