Ward Rooming House

Overtown-Miami, Florida

The Historical Restoration of the Ward Rooming House entailed the renovation/replication of the original 1920’s structure. This building is historically significant to Overtown, the oldest black community in the City of Miami, because it once served as a rooming house for blacks and Native Americans during the segregation era. Once the project was completed, our firm assisted the City of Miami in obtaining historic landmark designation.
