Greynolds Park Restoration

Miami, Florida

The facilities and structures at Miami’s Historic Greynolds Park, which was once used as a limestone quarry, had been deteriorating for some time. The project to restore the park involved repairs to the existing Historic Pedestrian footbridges and culverts, and restoration of water flow at the rockery. Park improvements included renovation of the historic incinerator, historic rock walls and historic rock picnic seating areas and steps. The project also involved beautification of Miami Gardens Drive, the introduction of new toll guard booths, additions to pedestrian walkways and interior and exterior renovations at the Maintenance Yard Building.
