Jose G. Matute, AIA, CGC, LEED AP

With more than 31 years of experience as an architect and 16 years as a General Contractor, Jose has developed a vast level of skill and knowledge in design. Buildings are his passion. When he’s not in the office striving for intuitive and unique designs, Jose is usually preparing for his next marathon or cycling event. He relaxes by cherishing the simple things, like cooking on the weekends and singing in his church choir. A Venezuela native, he came to the states, attended the University of Houston’s College of Architecture and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1984. He is registered as a LEED AP design professional with the United States Green Building Council and he’s a registered architect and interior designer in the State of Florida and Texas. He is also a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida.

The acrobat is no puppet. He devotes his life to activities, in which, in perpetual danger of death, he performs extraordinary movements of infinite difficulty with disciplined exactitude and precision…free to break his neck and his bones and be crushed.
Nobody asks him to do this. Nobody owes him any thanks. He lives in the extraordinary world of the acrobat.
